Carol Brandt, CLTC®
Co-founder & President
Meet Carol Brandt, our Co-founder of BFC, resident financial therapist and community advocate for health, wealth, fitness and longevity. Whether working with a group or private client, “our work isn’t just about protecting people and helping them build or preserve wealth” says Carol. For those we serve, conversations include the dynamics of personal health to complement insurance, planning and financial therapy discussions. A strong advocate on the importance of maintaining ones health to truly enjoy wealth, Carol makes it a point to cover all of the bases. It is appreciated by all who come for direction and guidance. Of particular interest concerning longevity, Carol inspires others on new ways stretch “rainy day funds” to last a lifetime when resources to cover costs for chronic illness or long term care are needed.
For large group clients, Carol has professional partnerships with one of the three largest brokerage firms in the country extending BFC's access to comparative analytics, predictive modeling, benchmarking and compliance services when needed. Carol has also led the firm to invest in new technology and extensive training for our BFC Infinity Benefits Platform – a dynamic approach to expand services to our small and mid size group clients. At BFC, all clients can enjoy the advantages of large firm state of the art technology without sacrificing the high touch personal service enjoyed by our clients and professional partners for over 35 years.
On the personal side, Carol enjoys live theatre, music, exploring US cities not yet visited and Chicago architecture. Also an avid reader on a variety of subjects including body language, criminal psychology and advances in medicine, there is always something new to share with clients and friends. Finding joy in volunteering for her favorite causes, Carol loves spending time with son, Elliot, who resides in Chicago’s Lincoln Park area. Passionate about helping anyone in need of an advocate, Carol is rarely found in a sitting position. Physical fitness routines include speed walking, suspension training and workouts with a local personal trainer. Ask Carol about The Exercise Coach – a complete 20 minute fitness program. “Who can’t spare 20 minutes twice a week!”
