Co-founder & President

Meet Carol Brandt, CLTC®, co-founder of Brandt Financial Concepts, Inc.  A resource to all for just about everything and our resident financial therapist, Carol leaves no stone unturned when facing a challenge.  Certified in Long-Term Care planning, she’s a trusted community advocate for health, building wealth, fitness, and longevity with a passion for helping families and professionals plan and prepare to live well, age well and plan well before a crisis.

With decades of experience, Carol has become affectionately known as the “Queen of Long-Term Care Planning & Funding”. She’s the creator and host of her Table Talk Series™, and frequently guest-speaks on Long-Term Care funding and “Medicare Made Simple” planning. These widely-attended educational programs are often presented in partnership with local non-profit organizations such as Elderwerks Educational Services, Palatine and Barrington area libraries, and leading industry platforms.

For employee benefit clients, Carol has a long-standing professional partnership with a significant third-generation brokerage firm extending BFC's access to comparative analytics, predictive modeling, benchmarking, HR, benefit administration, compliance services and more. At BFC, all group benefit clients can enjoy the advantages of large firm state-of-the-art technology as a complimentary no-cost service without sacrificing the high-touch personal service enjoyed by our clients and professional partners for over 40 years.

On the personal side, Carol enjoys behavioral psychology, wellness and longevity studies, live theatre, music, exploring US cities yet to be visited, and Chicago historical architecture.  A favorite get-a-way destination with husband and business partner, Jim Brandt, remains Galena, Illinois. Also, an avid reader on a variety of subjects including body language, criminal psychology and advances in medicine, there is always a new discovery or approach to share with clients and friends.  Carol is active and visible in the community with a love for spending time with family including son, Elliot, a successful professional residing in Chicago’s River North area.

With a passion for helping anyone in need of an advocate, Carol is rarely found in a sitting position.  You can often find her speed walking, suspension training, or at cardio and weight resistance workouts with a local trainer.  Ask Carol about The Exercise Coach – and her choice for s complete fitness program in 20 minutes. “Who can’t spare 20 minutes twice a week?”
